Chamber Minute | Golf Scramble, Summer Networking & Election Season Preparations

Summer is officially here in Oregon’s Bay Area, and your Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for another busy season of connecting businesses and strengthening our local economy. β˜€οΈπŸ€

First up, our 13th Annual Golf Scramble is coming up on June 13th! β›³

This fun-filled event brings together businesses, community leaders, and golfers for a day of networking, friendly competition, and support for Chamber programs.

We’re excited to share that Little Fish Fine Seafood will be catering both breakfast and lunch this year. 🍳🐟

A huge thank you goes out to all of our sponsors, teams, volunteers, and supporters who help make this event a success each year. πŸ™Œ

June 20th brings a couple of fun community happenings. πŸŽ‰

First, Jolene Krossman at the Bay Area Chamber is celebrating her birthday, so be sure to stop by and help us embarrass her properly. πŸŽ‚πŸ˜„

That same evening, Star of Hope will host their annual Dancing with the Stars Fundraiser beginning at 7:00 PM. πŸ’ƒβœ¨

Be sure to check their website for event details and join the community in supporting this wonderful organization. It’s always a fantastic night of entertainment and fundraising.

Then on June 25th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, join us for our next Business After Hours at Bayside Terrace. 🍹🎢

This month’s theme is the 1990s, so dust off your flannel, break out your favorite throwback outfit, and enjoy an evening of networking, refreshments, and fun with fellow Chamber members. πŸ“ΌπŸŽΈ

While summer events are underway, our Legislative Action Team is already preparing for the upcoming election season. πŸ—³οΈ

The team is currently reviewing endorsements and planning candidate forums for our Wednesday Business Connection luncheons, which return this September.

These forums provide valuable opportunities for our business community to become informed voters and hear directly from candidates about issues that impact our region, workforce, economy, and future growth.

Whether it’s advocacy, networking, education, or community events, your Chamber continues working every day to support local business success. 🌟
