February is in mid swing at your Chamber office, and we are gearing up for our Annual Directory Distribution of our brand new Chamber Directory on February 22nd, this local book is your local list of fellow members to support and all their contact information, beautiful graphics and shots from around our area, it is an invaluable resource for many of us, however it takes many volunteers of the Chamber to visit every single Chamber member in one day, Together is how we shall accomplish this feat, Together we will be out visiting and inviting all our members & community out to our “Chilin with NW Natural Chili and Fixings After Hours from 5-7pm February 22nd at 1625 N 7th street in Coos Bay at Northwest Natural, We want to share some love and celebrate with the entire community! Together is how we should tackle all things, together is how our Chamber functions more efficiently, many chamber teams work behind the scenes such as our Legislative Action team actively reading bills and gathering information to pass onto membership, and our Business Development Team working with area Business Development partners to provide business friendly classes and informational workshops to help strengthen local business. Once a month Business Builders classes were formed in the Newmark Center room 201, 3-5pm every 2nd Thursday of the month. Next Class is in March and you can register online at oregonsbayarea.org. We utilize our Volunteers to help us build up local business, provide opportunities to network gather and promote each other and come together on issues facing our economy and local businesses. Everyone is welcome, Come help the Chamber Celebrate all the Members and their families and our Volunteers. Food Fun and togetherness.
