In for another Chamber Minute is Rosey, Still practicing my Attitude of Gratitude this season, and I am finding more bits of time to reflect on my blessings to remind myself what is important.
November brings up the Holiday events at FULL Steam Ahead, many places to spend our time, and dollars. We are smack Dab in the midst of Small Business Season for our SHOP LOCAL campaign, reminding you that every local dollar spent here strengthens us for the future! November through December if you shop local you can win a Colossal Coos Bay, North Bend, and Charleston Gift Basket, just by tagging #baccshoplocal to your photo of you and your local receipt over $10. Unlimited entries, double entries for shopping at Chamber Member’s businesses. So get on out there and shop local and if you feel generous, November 15th is a Bus Jam fundraiser at Umpqua Bank in North Bend, DUNK A BOSS DAY, Many local leaders will gather for 30 Minute time slots for dunking at $1.00 a ball, Rosey will be available for dunking from 1:30pm to 2pm… all proceeds to go to Bus Jam Toy and Food Drive to help RAMP UP efforts before Bus Jam Day December 7th at BiMart in Coos Bay & North Bend.
Junior Chambers are gathering donated supplies for blessing bags for Operation Rebuild Hope, please bring New Socks to our Wednesday Business Luncheon November 13th.
