Chamber Minute | Connection & Advocacy
At the Bay Area Chamber, February means two important things: connection and advocacy. 🤝📣
First, we are preparing for the annual distribution of our 2026 Community Profile & Business Directory — your go-to guide for doing business in Oregon’s Bay Area. This publication highlights our members, showcases our region, and serves as a powerful tool for relocation, referrals, and economic development. It’s one of the many ways we help your business stay visible and connected. 📘✨
And we’re celebrating its release in true Chamber style! 🎉
Join us on February 26th from 5–7 PM at NB Lanes BackAlley Pub & Grille for our Directory Distribution Business After Hours Celebration. We’ll have cake, pizza, networking, and plenty of fresh directories hot off the press. Come grab your copies, connect with fellow members, and celebrate another year of Stronger Roots and Shared Growth. 🍕🍰
We are also signing up Vendors and Sponsors for the 2026 HOME SHOW — more information is available online at oregonsbayarea.org. Home Show 2026 is April 24-26 at Pony Village Mall. 🏡🛠️
Meanwhile, the Legislative Short Session is officially underway. Our Legislative Action Team is actively monitoring bills that impact our local business community. We’re keeping our eyes on issues that affect workforce, taxes, regulations, and economic opportunity — ensuring your voice is represented and business-friendly policies are supported. 🏛️✅
This is what your Chamber does: we connect, we promote, and we advocate. 💼🌱
If you’re not yet a member, we’d love to show you how we’re working every day to support businesses across Coos Bay, North Bend, and Charleston.
Together, we’re building stronger roots and shared growth for 2026 and beyond. 🌿🤎
