We are a new full service recreational facility which opened on July 1st, 2012. Box Car Campground is located at 92799 Trans Pacific Parkway, North Bend, OR. Our 105 acre property connects to The Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area where you will enjoy direct access to over 6000 acres of Oregon’s majestic coastal dunes and sandy beaches. Box Car Hill Campground is comprised of 60 large RV sites. 32 spaces offer full hookups and an additional 28 spaces provide water & electric services. Space sizes range from 60 to 75 feet long and 25 feet wide. All sites have access to free WIFI.
The large expansive sand dunes found within the Box Car Hill Area are legendary.
For over 5o years these dunes have been known as a popular destination for West Coast off-road and ATV enthusiasts. Historically, Box Car Hill has been the preferred site for numerous off-road special events such as Sand Fest, Sand Jam UTV Takeover and has garnered extensive press coverage via multiple print and web based outlets.
